Commraider, Inc. located in Palos Hills, IL is a certified, licensed, and insured low voltage communications company. Since 2007 we have performed hundreds of installations and repairs of Digital and IP based phone systems, custom cable infrastructures, and many other electrical products in homes, offices, restaurants, car dealerships, and department stores around Chicago and near by suburbs. We also support customers in Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida, and Denver. Our main focus is business phone systems, Voice and Data cabling, and overhead paging systems. Optional devices integration such as music on hold, door box units, and custom greetings are implemented as well. Some of our installs involved mounting of LCD and LED televisions and monitors, sound masking speaker systems, DVR and NVR camera installation, troubleshooting and repair.

Technology keeps changing

Over the years we have seen technology change rapidly. At Commraider, we try to stay on top of these changes. It seems as not long ago we used plain old telephone lines and talked on old heavy phones ( Key Telephone System ) with large flashing buttons and bell ringers. Most of us traveled around with Pagers and ran to pay phones to communicate. Large desktop computers and Dial-up Networking was state of the art at one time. Today we are using high tech systems, cloud based services, and mobile phones to communicate. Email, unified messaging, text messaging, SIP phone lines, and wireless phones and devices are the new standard today. Long gone are the days of akward or featureless desk phones, Pagers, and Dial-up Networking as SIP capable phone systems become integrated with networks, Internet, wireless desktop and mobile devices. Soon, Computers, Tablets, Phones, Televisions, and Wrist Watches, and 3D printers will all play a part in the Internet of Things (IoT) and come together as one big Ecosystem of communications.
